Mission

CHAMP MISSION:
The Children’s Health and Maintenance Project (CHAMP)’s mission is to establish sustainable “Dental Homes” for underprivileged young children (0-5 years old) living in certain Service Planning Areas (SPA) near the central corridor of the City of Los Angeles. The underprivileged children are identified through community outreach activities, receive educational and preventive services at the community sites, and are linked to dental homes for a lifelong of continuing dental care. CHAMP’s educational efforts prepare a cadre of well-informed parents, teachers, community workers and health professionals to care and serve children throughout Los Angeles.
